What's not made clear to folks starting out on designing a cab for the first time is the degree to which, with vpx and popper, you are signing up to become a pixel master in the sense that you have total control over what shows up on every pixel you have available across all of your monitors. I would advise getting backglass and dmd running and working before Dividing the monitor with trim. You will be typing in random numbers for an hour to get it perfect.ĭividing your backglass with a piece of trim or wood will work and can look nice if done properly. I realize that this doesn't need to be as good and the cost of 1080p and 720 are so close it's worth going for 1080p. That said, I'm looking at the second monitor now. 32" 165hz monitor with 5ms delay for 180 shipped.
